Unlike multi piece compression connectors designed for mini coax cable, which can lock in a misaligned manner when crimped, ITC's connectors simply twist together, resulting in a perfect connection every time. ITC's connectors offer a minimum resistance, easy access center pin entry of the center conductor, whether solid or stranded.
If you make a mistake or need to reterminate, you can cut the cable, grasp the jacket with a pliers and reclaim the connector for re-use.
