We accept credit cards and open account for payment of online purchases. Below is a list of common billing questions.

  • What credit cards do you accept?

    We accept American Express®, Discover® Card, MasterCard®, and VISA®, including all MasterCard®, VISA®, and American Express® purchasing cards issued by a U.S. Bank.

  • Can I pay online with a C.O.D.?

    No. We currently do not accept C.O.D. orders on our website. If you wish to order via C.O.D., please contact your MCM sales representative at 1-800-543-4330.

    Yes. We accept all of these credit cards.

  • I'm ordering online for the first time. Why can't I use my company's open account instead of a credit card?

    For your protection, MCM verifies the account status of all new registrations. This account status verification can take up to one business day. During this time, you may place an online order with a credit card. Once your registration information has been verified by a MCM service representative, you will see "MCM Account" as one of your online payment options.

    You may then place online orders on your account. If you need to expedite the account verification process call 1-877-626-3532.

  • What currencies and payment methods do you require for international orders?

    We accept payments in US dollars. You can complete your order using a credit card or an open account.

    C.O.D. orders cannot be placed through our website. Contact your MCM sales representative at 1-800-543-4330 to place a C.O.D order.

  • What is my card member ID (CVV2) number?

    The card verification value (CVV2) number is printed on your credit card and provides you with extra security.

    Find the CVV2 number on your card:

    • Visa, MasterCard, Discover - The CVV2 number is a three-digit number on the back of your card. The full or partial credit card number is reprinted in the signature box and at the end of the number is the CVV2 number.

    • American Express - The CVV2 is a four-digit number on the front of the card above the credit card number on either the right or left side of your American Express card.

  • How do I apply for an MCM account?

    If your business, institution, or government agency wishes to open an account with us, you can call your MCM sales representative at 1-800-543-4330 or download an application (34.5Kb). Open account status is normally granted to well-rated organizations with three appropriate credit references and a banking history. Terms of payment are net 30 days. Please allow 24 hours to process open account applications. There will be a $20.00 service charge on all returned checks.

  • Can I order if I am on credit hold?

    Yes. If you are over your account "credit limit" credit hold, you can still place orders using a credit card. If you are on "stop order" credit hold, you must contact the MCM credit department at 1-800-345-1349.

  • How do I submit a sales tax exemption certificate?

    MCM is required to collect sales tax in OH, CA, IN, NV, MN, AL and SD only.

    If you don't already have a sales tax exemption certificate on file with us, please submit it via fax at 1-937-433-4518 or email [Email US].

    If you do already have a sales tax exemption certificate on file with us, but you still see tax when checking out, please call 888-235-4692 or email [Email US].

    A customer service representative will process your form and apply a tax exemption to your account as soon as possible.

    Be sure to include your username and MCM account number, if possible.

  • Will my order be charged sales tax?

    We are required by law to charge and collect state and local sales tax in the following 6 states: Alabama, Indiana, Minnesota, California, Ohio and Nevada. Sales tax will always be charged in those states unless you have a state sales tax exemption certificate on file with us. If you are using a restricted sales tax exemption certificate (per purchase order), you must submit a confirming purchase order referencing the state sales tax exemption number for all orders exempt from sales tax.
