We offer a variety of shipping methods for your order. Once your order is shipped, we'll notify you via e-mail, informing you of the tracking number so you always know where your order is. Below is a list of common shipping questions.

  • When will my order be shipped?

    Orders are shipped within 24 hours after completion with the exception of holidays and weekends. Please be advised of MCM's current shipping schedule for orders shipped via an air method:

    All air orders placed after 2:00 PM (EST) will be shipped the following business day. To expedite your air shipments, use MCM's preferred carrier, UPS. To ship next day or second day via FedEx or USPS, orders must be placed before noon.

  • What shipping methods are available?

    We offer you numerous carrier method options. Here are guidelines you can follow to select the most economical method for your order.

    • Standard Delivery
    • For urgent delivery, select an air shipment method. We work with FedEx and UPS to deliver your order quickly.
    • For large, heavy items and special handling, select a ground method.
    • For orders being shipped to APO and FPO destinations, call your MCM sales representative at 1-800-543-4330.

  • How do I pick up my order at MCM Will Call?

    Ordering
    Orders for will call pick up can be called into our Sales Office or ordered online by selecting "Will Call" as your shipping option during the check out process. A minimum of 3 hours is needed to process will call orders. Please take this into account when ordering.

    Payment
    The MCM Sales Representative will need your credit card information when you place your order. You must present your credit card and a valid driver's license at the Will-Call Pick-Up Window.

    Check
    Identification is necessary. Orders over $300.00 will require cashier's check or money order.

  • How long does it take to process a Will Call order?

    We ask customers to allow 3 hours for will call orders due to our order processing system and the automation and layout of our distribution center. On average, we process 1,500 orders a day. Peak days are over 2,000. To remain efficient and keep prices low, will call orders are inducted into our system along with all other orders. Orders have to process through credit approval and then are printed and released to our Distribution System. Once released, they travel along our automated conveyor system. Depending on where the items are located throughout our 135,000 square foot facility, the tote could make stops in up to 10 areas where order pickers are selecting product, putting the product into the tote, and then confirming to the system the action that was taken. We have over 5,000 feet of conveyor and stock over 30,000 products.

  • Do you ship outside of the United States and Canada?

    MCM ships to North America including the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Export orders requiring special handling, packaging, and documentation are subject to additional charges. All orders outside of the U.S. will be shipped using United States Postal Service unless specified (collect account number is needed to specify a alternative carrier).

    *We are unable to quote shipping charges to Canada due to the large variance in duties and fees.

  • How do you determine packaging and processing charges?

    Shipping charges are based on order value. A $4.99 processing and fuel charge is included in our shipping rates. A $4.99 handling fee will be applied if a 3rd party account is used. Certain items may be subject to packaging and handling surcharges due to hazardous materials, size, weight or quantity. Any truck or freight shipments are excluded from the below packaging and handling rates. Shipping rates are subject to change in accordance with promotions and other circumstances.

  • How does MCM ship large and overweight items?

    For heavy shipments, common carrier truck is most economical. Charges are F.O.B. shipping point. Any ground order over 50 pounds or any air shipment over 25 pounds will be charged carrier chart rate.

  • What should I do if product is damaged in shipment?

    Our merchandise is carefully packed for shipment by our distribution centers, or is prepackaged by our suppliers in compliance with carrier requirements. However we realize that shipment damage may occur in spite of these precautions.

    Please check all shipments when they are delivered for shortages or external signs of damage. If you find a problem, notify the driver of all the items involved. If containers in your shipment appear damaged, you should immediately unpack them and inspect the contents. If there is damage, have the driver write a detailed description of the damage on both copies of the freight bill, and have the driver sign the freight bill. Even if the containers in your shipment appear undamaged, you should still unpack and examine them as soon as possible. If you find concealed loss or damage, immediately report it to the carrier. Please do not dispose of any containers or packing material before any carrier inspection.

    Please note: You must file any claims, with supporting documentation, in accordance with the terms of the carrier responsible for your delivery. Failure to do so will result in the carrier refusing to honor the claim. For your protection, our billings include insurance for damage or loss in transit.

  • How do I get my shipment tracking number?

    When your order is shipped via UPS or FedEx, we will send a shipping notice to your e-mail address. The notice contains the carrier tracking number. Use that number to track your order.

  • What are order notes?

    Order notes let you attach information to your order for use by you and your company. They will appear on all correspondence regarding your order. As you checkout, enter order notes on the shipping page to take advantage of this feature.

  • What is the handling fee?

    A handling fee of $4.99 is charged to web orders that choose a collect shipping method. This is an MCM handling fee and is in addition to any COD fees charged by the carrier.

  • What is Super Saver shipping?

    Super Saver shipping is a lower cost shipping method by which your order will be delivered using the carrier of MCM's choice. This may include FedEx SmartPost, FedEx Home Delivery, UPS Ground, USPS, or other carriers. Super Saver shipping may add between one and three days to your delivery time.
