Self contained speaker is perfect for use with all types of communications equipment including CB and HAM radio, scanners and portable emergency/public service equipment. The 21/4" diameter speaker is tailored for optimum response in the voice range, providing enhanced clarity with natural reduction of unwanted hash and static. Attached 6' cord is terminated with a molded 3.5mm mono plug.

  This is an excellent little speaker for use with mobile communication equipment in either a mobile or a base station application. The sound is much better than I expected it would be and the speaker is capable of putting out much louder sound (without distortion) than I would have expected for a speaker of this size. I bought two of them a couple years ago when they were on sale. I only had an application for one at the time but couldn't pass up the good deal and figured I'd have a use for the second one eventually (it didn't take long before I did). Now I need a couple more and I find that they are no longer available. Bummer!
