This unit is heavy enough to stay put and helps with small to medium production soldering.

If you do a lot of soldering and use large spools this thing is too handy not to have.

The unit went together easily and seems to be well built. Unfortunately, my spools of solder would not fit in the provide spacing. They are all about 1/8" too wide In all fairness, my supply of solder was made in the UK, so very few USA users will likely run into this problem. I used a Dremel tool to elongate the holes in the two sides a bit and trimmed the rim of the plastic solder spool a small amount. The end results were perfect as the spool is now free to turn with just a slight tug of the solder, but not loose enough to send solder flying across the bench.

      Great Solder Stand

Perfect stand for your solder. With the solder guide, it can act as another hand. Especially when tinning wires.
