      I've owned expensive soldering iron stations....which usually come with expensive tips that don't last a long time. I got fed up with all the hype of precision thermally regulated garbage and sold off all those expensive stations. In their place, I replaced it with a $50 Tenma and these tips. Guess what? They last a long time and solder perfectly! I still have an original tip melting cleanly after 6 months usage. They solder PERFECTLY!! Try it...you'll be sold.
