  I received unit, charged battery and tested it. Worked OK, actually worked quite well, picture quality was good. Put unit away, went to use it a couple of months later, charged battery, replaced batteries, DID NOT WORK! Past warranty. Pretty expensive tool for 2 uses. Bought a quality unit, has been working for 1 year now with no problems.

  For the price it works fine. Good for occasional use, picture quality fair, but it will keep you out of trouble when working blind. Saved me from drilling through 240 volt power.

  Worked as advertised. Comes in handy looking in wall holes. Camera end a little larger than I thought it would be, otherwise I like it. Like being able to seperate monitor from camera.

  After it arrived, I inserted the batteries and tried to test it in various scenarios. I quickly realized that I couldn't see anything but a bunch of blurry shapes regardless of conditions. Apparently, the plastic housing covering the camera at the tip was defective or cracked or possibly just improperly manufactured, causing extensive blurring of the camera image. I RMA'd the first one and received a replacement a week or so later: the replacement is even worse! You can actually see that the plastic directly in front of the camera lens is hazy and distorted. From my experience with this product so far, it appears to be a cheaply made Chinese knock-off that isn't useful for looking at anything. Perhaps my second RMA will work properly, but I'm not hopeful

  Charged my unit straightaway per instructions. When it was ready for use, I put it together and tested it by looking inside the action of a piano. Provided a great view. The in-wall camera section seems quite sturdy. However, was surprised when I disconnected the viewer that it went blank. Making a long story short, I determined the WAP for my home network interfered with the camera transmission to the LCD receiver! WAP off: great picture. WAP on: no picture or grainy picture. You'll probably need the camera extension (which I also purchased) for many in-wall jobs.

  This review is simple and easy. It doesn't work! Out of the box - DEAD. Made in China, what else could you expect.
