Is very good quality, puts out lots of light as I needed for my drive way lightning.

There's no way to rationally review this product. Some users will find it perfect for their needs. Other will dislike it. Up 'til now, I've been using CFLs from Home Depot. They're compact, have a pleasing warmish color that's reasonably good for photography (though they aren't sold for that purpose), and come to full brightness in about 30 seconds. As my corneas continue to harden, I find it increasingly difficult to read comfortably except in bright light, so I bought these bulbs for the IKEA floor lamp next to my bed. They worked; I can now read easily. However... I selected the 5000K version on the assumption the color balance would be close to daylight. There's no question that the light (unlike the warmish tone of the Home Depot lamps), is white. It's so white, one might say it's white with a vengeance. There also seems to be a fair amount of UV, as the beach towels I sleep on seem to fluoresce. After several days' use, I haven't gotten accustomed to this bulb. So I've decided to move it to the ceiling fixture in the living room (which currently has a Home Depot CFL), where the added light will be welcome. Your choice. This bulb would be ideal for a kitchen/laundry, a game room, an entryway/vestibule, where a lot of brilliant light is appropriate. It would not be as appropriate for a living room or bedroom. Your call.
