Use these all the time, build quality is as good as any, but at about half the price. Also, last time I needed these, my requirement was for 840 pieces, stunned to see MCM had that many in stock. Great product, outstanding price, outstanding supplier.

      Relay socket

      Overall: 4 out of 5

      Quality:

I like the ease of use of these sockets but the draw back is the "in and out" wires are not heavy enough for the current use. To utilize 30 or 40 amps, the wires should be 10 gauge.

incorrect wiring specs, but good product

Red is actually SPDT normally CLOSED. It goes to pin 87a, the center terminal. The "a" nomenclature refers to "always" connected until the coil is energized. Likewise, the Yellow is SPDT normally OPEN. Search for Bosch relay pin-outs, and you can verify yourself. Also, on SPST normally OPEN "standard (BOSCH)" automotive relays, the center terminal is missing, further signifying the RED terminal is actually normally CLOSED.
