Ordered two of these to use in a vehicle. Decent quality (all plastic parts) and will work for exactly what I need, but a little disappointed in the product description and lack of a simple wiring diagram. First, it's listed as having "independent illumination" which is sort of correct. However, one of the terminals shares the "switch" side and "LED" side, so your power source has to be from the same as what you plan on switching. For my application I wanted the LED to turn on and off with the interior lighting of the vehicle and be able to control a load with the switch. I now need to add a relay to the circuit to avoid any voltage from back-feeding between two different circuits. Second, the packaging is very plain and provided no wiring diagram for the switch. Had to carefully disassemble it to verify the terminals. For anyone else buying this switch they are: 1 - Common for switch / +voltage for the LED, 2 - Normally Open for switch, 3 - Ground for LED
Easy and quickly bought my TV component and used tutorial to fix. Now have a working TV again for a tiny fraction of cost of a new TV, so very satisfied.
