      Works great!

      Overall: 5 out of 5

This unit works with my laptop computer which uses 20 watts of power. The larger unit I bought from MCM earlier requires at least 30 watts of power draw from the master load. I did not test to see what the threshold was on this unit. I like the compact design that mounts directly onto the electrical outlet.

      Design has issues

      Overall: 4 out of 5

Small and compact, covers both outlets of a duplex receptacle, but there is only 1always on plug, and the master plug to turn on the other 2 power savers is on the right side, preventing a standard power strip with a 45 deg angled plug (as all mine are) from plugging in to be able to trigger the remaining 2 power saver plugs into the on state. Has surge protection for coax and RJ11/45 which is nice.
