I used this for routing wires through the wall. Extremely simple to use and great quality to boot!

    A very handy device

    Overall: 5 out of 5

If you need to drop a line down a hollow wall and make it look nice with a cover plate, this is the way to go. Just cut the whole in the wall (gives you more room to work too), insert this bracket and tighten it up. Now you can work on your line and then cover it up with any standard cover plate. Gives a nice professional appearance when you are all done.

    Not the best, just ok

    Overall: 3.5 out of 5

These are not terrible, just not the best available. Get the Carlon models and not the Arlington models for easy installation. The Carlon models have holes in each corner so you can hold it up to the wall and mark your hole to cut. The Black Arlington versions don't have anything to use for a hole cut guide.

An invaluable product when running computer, telephone or tv cable. It makes the installation very professional, when used with the appropriate covers.
