  MY OLD DTV ANTENNA COULDN'T EVEN BRING IN THE LOCAL CHANNELS LET ALONE THE DISTANT CHANNELS FROM OMAHA. i NOW HAVE BOTH EVEN THOUGH I'M ON THE END OF THE ADVERTISED RANGE OF THE ANTENNA. I WON'T NEEED THE AMP THAT I BELIEVED I WOULD AFTER ALL!!

  This is a high-gain antenna primarily in the one direction it is aimed in. It does not provide very good reception for transmitters that are located off-axis. With that understood, it will pull in a signal at the specified range from transmitters that are on-axis. It might also work for certain other specific directions (with reduced range), but it is not omnidirectional, and the "multidirection" characteristics are unknown and not specified. Works well for high-VHF and UHF for DTV and analog; not effective for low-VHF analog stations (if there are any of those still around).

  Can't say if the antenna is the problem. I have a rotor and the whole nine yards, yet don't get some broadcasts I think I should get. I'm in a bit of a low spot, have trees, its hard to say. I was expecting better results when off air went digital. Even cheap rabbits ears inside the house does somewhat as good, I think. I could just be me.

  ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT GREAT ... THE PICTURES HELPED ... HOWEVER, THE UHF ANTENNA PERFORMED VERY WELL ... IT PULLED IN THE ONE CHANNEL/STATION THAT WAS WEAK ... THE DTV CONVERTER BOX SIGNAL WENT FROM A 10 to 20 USING AN OUTDOOR UHF/VHF ANTENNA ON A ROTATOR TO A 40 to 45 BY MERELY PLACING THIS UHF ANTENNA IN THE ATTIC ... VERY IMPRESSIVE ...
