  I am confused. This is an A/B switch. The previous reviewer says, "I haven't done a full test of this item. An obvious flaw, however, is that the switch does not terminate the unused input. The unused input is left open". The purpose of the switch is to take 2 RF sources and select between them. How would you have an unused input?? If you only have 1 input connected what is the switch switching?? MCM, please feel free to remove both of these reviews. I am sure this clueless guy is not helping the sales of this item.

  Previous review stating another review is useless is all wet. I have a perfect use for this switch: turn on and off my tv cable at the service entrance, hence only using one input and one output. I will just buy a 72-ohm terminator or make one up, since the unused input probably should not be unterminated.

  I appreciate all of our customer’s interest in this product. Yes, there may possibly be instances where this unit is used only as an ON/OFF switch and not necessarily an A/B switch (albeit rare). However, in this case, the switch will have an unused INPUT, not an OUPUT, therefore there is no need for a terminator. Should a person choose to use this solely as an ON/OFF switch for a 75ohm signal line, it is totally acceptable to leave the unused input open.
