  This little convertor is a great test aid. Too often you're troubleshooting an audio/video system with a small battery operated test speaker/amp combo made for pocket speaker i-pod listening and come accross a digital audio signal you can't test. Whip out this little jewell and convert it to analog audio. Works great, can be opperated on battery just by adding an old power cord off of a discarded wall wart. Automatically adjusts to any sample rate, clean and clear output. Gotta love it!

  Great interface between PC with digital audio output and analog only input receivers. With this said the only restriction on your 2 ch audio will be be your amp, speakers, and quality of the recording on n the PC. I have noticed a clicking noise between tracks on a play list but this may be my PC doing this. When the PC sleeps a hissing noise is present but I don't think it is coming from my hk 330i. Otherwise a great find at MCM and I won't have to buy an expensive audio card!

  I believe I have tried all similar products on the market for less than about $100. This is absolutely the first one I've found useful. Others have terrible excessive noise. It is also trivial to install and use. For comparison, I have in the past communicated with a German engineer who was similarly frustrated and had designed his own. I've gone the route of building to his design for excellent performance, but this unit is both cheaper and easier. It is the only similar product I would recommend from my experience.
