I've been impressed by this little switch. It switches automatically when you turn on a device. Or you can switch manually by pushing the button. The picture is clear. It doesn't degrade the signal.

This switch works well , Turn on a device and it switches to that device .
Turn off a device and it switches back to the device that's still on
Or you can push the button and manually switch between devices .
The photos of this thing make it seem bigger than it is. It's tiny

Exactly what it is supposed to be.

I've had this unit for several months now and it does what it is supposed to perfectly. I have an Xbox 360, a Blu-Ray player, and a steaming media player all plugged in and only have to tie up one HDMI port. I recommend this to anyone who has more devices than ports on their TV.
