The VideoConnection uses state of the art 2.4GHz technology to transmit crisp clear video and audio signals through the walls and between the rooms in a house. The hidden high gain antenna reduces interference. Use the VideoConnection to send the audio/video signals from a satellite receiver, VCR, camcorder, DVD or other video source to a TV in a different room.

  I am always skeptical about wireless video and audio, always expecting fuzzy pictures, drifting signals, and distorted sound. Well the Astrotel Communications 2.4ghz Wireless Audio Video Transceiver impressed me. I use them for sending analog composite video and stereo sound from a satellite’s 2nd tuner through a couple of walls (about 30 feet) to my Hdtv in the kitchen, with no appareent loss in Quality. You should know before buying (many of which it tells you in the owners manual): The receiver and transmitter are powered with “wall wart” transformers, for the best signal possible, they must be pointed toward each other (there are “arrows” on each unit, and it really does matter), appliances like microwaves can interfere (using the microwave, about 10 feet away, the picture is blocked and the sound becomes constant noise, other appliances don’t seem to interfere). In summary, I bought it on sale and feel that for the convieneance and performance, it would have been worth full price.
