  I can't praise these Pro-luxe HD-838 headphones too highly. Look at the price - but what do you get for your money? You get extremely well constructed headphones which supply really good sound. They are not quite as sensitive as the Stellar 35-2230 headphones which I also like very much, but you need only turn up the volume a bit with these. You will hear very smooth and detailed sound. You also get a single-sided cord, which I personally much prefer over double cords on headphones, and that cord is thick and LONG. It easily reaches any component desired in my listening/viewing room AND in addition it comes with a 3.5 mm to 6.4 mm adapter at no extra cost. How about that! You also get a very comfortable set of headphones. Because this one, unlike the Stellar unit, has no padding on its headband, it is not quite as comfortable as that one but, at the price, this can easily be forgiven (and it IS comfortable!). I bought four pair as I often use headphones in various rooms about the house. At this price
