    Decent little amplifier.

    Overall: 4.5 out of 5

Pros: Compact size, RCA and 3.5mm inputs, plays MP3 files from flash drive, two-band EQ, power supply built in (no wall wart). Cons: Annoyingly bright blue LED VU meters. I'm using the amp to drive a pair of Realistic Minimus 7 speakers as part of a classroom DVD/projection system. It has plenty of power to drive the speakers and the RCA and 3.5mm stereo inputs allow me to easily switch from DVD player to laptop computer. Treble and bass tone controls provide enough EQ to make it work well for a small room. The blue LED VU meters are way too bright, especially for a darkened room. I asked for an amplifer, not a light show!

    Compact and clear

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I bought this in hopes of using it in a small space. I tested it on my Bose speakers and wow, what a clear sound. The item itself is very compact so its great for small apartments. The USB feature is really quite cool. You can drag a bunch of MP3's from your computer and just plug it an and it plays them. I connected my IPad to the line plug and it worked perfectly and sounded great also. The only drawback is that the blue equalizer lights are really bright, but it's easy enough to just put something in front of them..... they look cool, but can get annoying. This is one tiny, powerful, clear-sounding amp.

Pyle PCAU44 Steareo Amp with CD/MP3 & USB Inputs

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I purchased this amp to use with a HD Digital Tuner and a pair of small speakers that would handle the ~30Wrms per channel output and the sound was PHENOMENAL! It has also been used with an mp3 player, a Satellite receiver stereo output, as well as with a flash drive loaded with mp3 music files and the stereo image is so REAL which makes this amp, when matched with a good pair of speakers, a great compact stereo system. A multi-CD disc player would also sound great thru this amp. fdrgski
