    Worked awesome

    Overall: 5 out of 5

Used to send controls though wall in game room to a older(1999) Sony stereo, Sony DVD player and Apple TV. Setup was breeze and worked like charm.

Does Not Repeat All The Time

    Overall: 1 out of 5

Called Tech support before I purchased to check on quality. Said works for most people. Just have to have target receiver in the correct place. I got it to work but only sparatically. Call tech support said I likely had someing in the house causing IR interference. Suggested the upgrade to version 50-13049. I did this - it works perfectly - just plugged it in and it worked.

Does seem to have frequency restrictions.

    Overall: 2.5 out of 5

Worked fine for the DVR but would not pass a signal for the Scientific Atlanta 8500 cable box. Changed out xmit buttons to verify issue. I should of figured something that cheap would have an issue. Maybe it will work for everything but this box?

Put the receiver and cable box inside a cabinet, behind a door. Used this to allow me to operate the components with the door closed. Works just like it is supposed to. No problems at all.

    Old Technology per MCM support

    Overall: 1 out of 5

I am disappointed in MCM on this one. I don't recall seeing any limiting factors in the sale ad. But this unit doesn't work. I have an older Sony surround-sound system; a fairly new DirecTV receiver; a 3 year old Memorex DVD player; and a 4 year old Philips HDD recorder. Individually, with only one set of emitters plugged in, each unit reponds intermittently. Once a second set of emitters is plugged in, NONE of the devices will respond.

    Don't Bother

I cannot get even one device to work consistently. this device hooks up fine but it sometimes works on my surround receiver but not consistently enough to bother using. I have tried several modifications like covering up the back of all the transmitters so they don't interfere with the other devices, changed the location of the pick up and even putting the equipment rack in a black box. Nothing worked.

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Excellent sensitivity allows for flexibility in locating the receiver.

    Works as advertized

    Overall: 4.5 out of 5

The gadget works fine with my DirecTV satellite receiver and my Apex DVD player remotes. It does not work well if I put the emitter of my Leapfrog wireless IR remote extension (which has only one emitter) near the detector so I can control both my satellite receiver and DVD player from my bedroom without moving the emitter back and forth from one device to the other (which are on seperate shelves) as I have been doing. Maybe I can find a way to connect one of the extra dual emitters from the MCM unit to the (old) Leapfrog receiver. Generally, I'm quite pleased with the MCM unit.

Works great and at a great price

    Overall: 5 out of 5

This is the lowest price I have been able to find anywhere for one of these. Am using it with my Coby set and Time Warner cable box. Works great.

    Works well -things to know!

    Overall: 4 out of 5

Unit works well with older AV equipment. This unit appears to only work on the low freq (38khz) ir remotes. I thought I had this problem with a Vizio LCD HDTV but found the IR sensor needed to be moved away (36 inches) from screen to work consistently. Plasma is known for having these problems but my LCD did also but only for the TV remote.
