  I purchased this mount to install a 42" LCD into an existing cabinet that used to have a rear projection TV. The mount was super easy to install and the instructions were simple and straight forward for someone with installation experience. It worked exactly as expected. The only negative (for my installation) was that the locking rod for the lower part of the mount could not be installed inside the cabinet because it needed to slide completely across the bottom of the mount. If this mount is installed on a wall, you will need a minimum clearance of 34.5" on one side of the mount to slide the locking rod into place to secure the bottom of the mount.
