Multichannel power amplifiers have become the foundation upon which the best home sound systems are built. With the proliferation of multizone sound reinforcement and state of the art digital surround sound, the amplification of several channels has evolved from a luxury into a necessity. The AudioSource Amp Five Series are fully featured, high current monoblock power amplifiers. High quality, fan cooled discreet output devices stay cool under the most demanding situations. Large toroidal power supplies and oversized capacitors work together to ensure an abundance of headroom while staying stable into loads as low as two ohms. The Amp Five Series is completely modular within its optional rack mountable chassis. This chassis accommodates six 100W, four 150W or three 250W modules. Many other combinations may be utilized. For example, a typical Dolby Digital home theater system, three 100W and two 150W modules may be utilized within the chassis. Optional blank face plates are available for a clean front panel. |
