I never thought I would give up my big floor standers. The remodel clips worked perfectly during installation. They are surprisingly light. I think the back boxes limit deep base a little any sub would take care of that. I think the back box gives a more consistant sound and eliminates any sheet rock or bugs from rattling on the backside of the woofer. They don't sound as nice as my big planars did but hey, they sound good and the wife loves them. We had the ceiling down so I was able to map out the installation. If you cut a hole in the ceiling and there is plumbing up there the back box might not fit. Installed 4 one year ago with no issues. I've got 4 more, just need to run the wire.
