Low—profile speaker distribution systems enable on/off control to four, six or eight pairs of speakers, while providing impedance protection to the amplifier. Source A/B selector for each zone allows independent selection from two different sources to each speaker pair. Non—inductive resistor network maintains impedance above 4ohm, regardless of the number of 8ohm speakers selected. Since resistors are used instead of commonly used transformers, much wider frequency response is maintained through the selector. Terminal strips accept up to 12AWG wire, and are fully removable to ease installation.
