Bookshelf Speaker Pair
Attractive speaker pair features simulated black ash vinyl veneer, and a partially transparent, removable black grill. Intended to be a perfect match to Model #50-9080 center channel speaker, they are perfectly suitable as front or rear speakers in any home theater environment.

Note: This speaker is sold in pairs.

  I bought three pairs (6 total) to use as surround speakers in our secondary entertainment system, and was stunned by how good the speakers are for the price. At under $40, these are a STEAL. Now, they are only 4" woofers, so don't expect to blow out the windows with them, but the frequency range is remarkable for such small cabinets. I use five, including one I simply plugged in as the "center" speaker, and have one left in reserve. As a bonus, they are cosmetically attractive. RECOMMENDED!

  Amazing speakers for the price. The woofers do respond to ultra low frequencies, way lower than you would expect from a 4" woofer. So you will need to dial back the bass a little when listening to rap or rock at higher volumes. Can easily fill a small bedroom with clear sound. I have them running as front speakers in my home theater from a Yamaha reciever capable of 135W per channel. I have the high pass filters set to above 120Hz to help save the woofers and they scream! Would highly recommend. Just remember it is a 4" woofer, but will still play fairly loud.

  Fist off, the catalogue says these speakers are ported when they're not. Secondly, the tweeters blew in less than a month. The most wattage I had running through there was 40. Says the're rated for 60 RMS...not acurate at all, maybe 25 watts RMS at best. Yes they're cheap, but if I'd paid 50 cents for them it would still be too much.

  i bought these speakers for my home theater system and i was so amazed of the sound from these speakers for the price i paid for them great speakers i highly recomend these speakers for home theater systems

  i have owned speakers costing 2-4x singlehanded through the years it is no longer necessary for that. they sound well on everything that i listen to so therefor no complaints. i would pay another $10 for the pair to see a thicker cabinet... who knows what the future holds.
