Nice Speaker for Flea Watt Amps

    Overall: 5 out of 5

My little Chinese 3 watt amplifier board didn't seem to care for the 4 ohm load my speakers had, So off to MCM I went, where I found these babies. Sweet full range tone decently loud and a little more room in the volume control without noticeable distortion. Just what the doctor ordered. MCM's customer service was every bit as helpful as I've heard from others. THANK YOU MCM!

Bose Style Array built with 9 of these.

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I took a 4.75" White PVC fence post, notched out one whole side for the full length leaving 1.5" at each end, painted it black, created a wood baffle with the varied angles like the Bose L1 stick, loaded 9 of these speakers with a high pass at 100 Hz, added a small horn tweeter at the top position with a high pass at 12K, sealed it up at each end with a wood block to hold the baffle at the opening, hooked it up to my Denon AVR-791, ran Audissey room alignment program on the Denon with the calibration mic, and voila! I have a great sounding system. this speaker completely surpassed my expectation. With my sub the 2.1 system sounds like a very high end pair with wide dispersion full sounding experience. Thanks to the MCM team for their help with the crossover!
