  I have to admit I was skeptical, so I ordered 2 of these, I am blown away by the sound qualty and perfomance of these speakers for the price, They are very light and easy to move and produce awsome bass and clear mids and highs. Very impressed. I am planning on ordering 4 more very soon....

  I purchased two of these to run as mains on my system. I have had them running at 125db at one meter for over an hour and they work great.

  My partner and I split the cost on a pair of these to use for our modest DJ gigs. Initially they worked and sounded great, but after 5 hours of relatively loud playing, the midrange/tweeter horn stopped delivering, in both speakers. Not sure if the compression driver is dead or the crossover - Haven't taken them apart to find out yet. Only a 90 day warranty on these?? Cost too much to ship back anyways. (Running off a Crown XLS 402D Amp)

  Note that you cannot find the sensitivity of these speakers anywhere - except on the back of the cabinet. They are 92 dB, which is low for professional level equipment. This means that for a given power input, you are only getting half as much actual volume as with other brand name speakers, which are 98 dB or more. The internal wiring is very thin and there is no internal damping, potentially leading to standing waves. They are, however, well constructed from particle board, and have 3 internal braces. The bass is adequate and as expected, but the midrange is excellent, with voices and midrange instruments having excellent clarity. The tweeter is weak in the very high range and needs lots of eq. All that said, they are an excellent value, and my 300w rms per channel TOA amp went into clipping without these even breaking a sweat - they do go very loud. Even with delivery, you'll get a pair for the same price as one of a low quality name brand. They're also a good platform to modify - easy to disassemble, change wiring, add damping etc.

  I own 4 of the older brother of these speakers and I am happy with all of them. Especially the sound quality. I constantly have people come up and ask me how I get acoustic instruments and vocals to sound so good. My only problem with these speakers is the input jacks. The 1/4" jack is not very strong, and the binding posts are the only other input. I would rather two 1/4" jacks. It is even worse that if you use a dual banana connector on the binding posts, you block off the access to the 1/4" jack, but for the price I can put another 1/4" in and still be money ahead. I drive 3 of these daisy chained with an 1800 watt amp rated for 2 ohm loads on each stereo channel and they will make a lot of noise. I have been using them on outside gigs and they can make a lot of sound that people really think is natural.

  I am using this with my Marshall 100 watt amp and this sounds great! Overall response is very good and sounds crystal clear even when playing at full volume. Great value for the price!
