Outstanding high frequency response, wide dispersion and very high immunity to burnout make this an ideal addition to any existing PA speaker system. Six-sided enclosure places six piezoelectric tweeters at five different angles for ultra wide dispersion. Because piezo tweeters have very high impedance at low frequencies, no crossover is required, and they may be connected directly in parallel with the existing speaker system.

The elusive piece your home DIY audio system has been missing.

If you're not sure what it adds to your audio system, disconnect it momentarily and give it a listen. Then reconnect. Stir and repeat as needed. Hear it? Now connect your audio system to your computer or smart phone. With the gain turned down, try this: http://goo.gl/Pt8gQu It's a sine wave test that begins at an inaudible 20 Hz and runs up to a dog whistle 20 kHz. The sound moves from the subwoofer to the mids and culminates with the 555-10345 giving an impressive solo performance at the top end. And yes, that's what your system has been missing. An easy and pretty dramatic fix courtesy of a gizmo that costs roughly the price of gum.

Arrived in perfect condition and worked right out of the box. The cab is both sturdy and not unattractive. Quality speaker posts/fittings for this price point. And, as the product description states, it really can be connected inline without any impedance issues. Bridged it between the left and right channels in parallel with four other speakers. Had 4 ohms before, and was metering 4 ohms after. No muss, no fuss and no x-over.

Application? As its final resting place will be 10 feet up, will be pumping a line level audio signal into small amp to give it and its two companion aerial mid-ranges a bit of boost. And am seriously considering adding a second array to produce stereo.

Conclusion: It's great. Your audio system wants this array.

    Good Sound, Great Value

I ordered this tweeter to boost speech intelligibility on my home theater sound system. It works great. Well-built, no crossover needed, just hooked it in parallel with my center channel speaker. My wife and I are older and this helps bring out the dialogue in films with noisy backgrounds. It may add too much treble for some folks, but you can dial it back on your amplifier equalizer. Nice looking (if a tad larger than I would have liked) and we're pleased.

    Tweeter Array

For the money, this is a nice product. We needed something to enhance and better disburse the high end in our Church sound system. It has sounded a bit muddy. Without adding a lot of volume, this has added the missing part. We do have to run it with a separate, appropriately powered amp, as these things won't take much power. Also, we are not sure how long they will last. Even if they don't last very long, the boxes are worth the money, and we can upgrade the tweeters.

    Top 10 Contributor

We added a pair of these to our 18" subs and pole mounted 12" two ways, trying to get wider coverage during our outdoor performances. Wow, what an improvement! Just ordered a second pair for our 15" subs with 10" pole mounts. Great product, keep up the good work!

    Great value

I bought a pair of these as I needed a wider dispersion than the tweeters I was using. Piezo's are inexpensive to start with but with 6 in a pretty sturdy cabinet I have been pleased with them so I ordered a second pair for a friend. In a studio rehearsal room they worked well where several people are in various places and could not always hear the high end well. The side drivers may not always be needed / wanted in a front of house PA setup. A simple matter to unhook those if needed by unscrewing the driver and disconnecting it.

    Spread the Highs around...

I use a pair of these on top of a couple 15" 4-way Sound Reinforcement speakers I use by the poolside for parties. I power them all with 700 w/ch Amp. I use a jumper cable from my main speakers to the 1/4" jack on these tweeter boxes. Overall, they are a great value for the cost. I can't imagine building these for any less using raw components. The best part is, IF you happened to blow one (or more) of the 6 tweeters they are very easy to unscrew and replace if needed. The only complaints I have about them is they are not the highest SPL speakers out there for Piezo's and I had to open one box up (by removing a tweeter) so I could shake out some loose pieces that were rattling around inside the box that were dime-sized chunks of hard plastic. These units don't come with rubber feet but do have metal corners. If you plan to set them on hard wood bass cabinets you will need some feet or they will vibrate off. They do a great job at spreading the high frequencies around a large radius listening area.
