*** Note - It has come to our attention that the installation CD and Manual refer to this device as being a telescope. The installation is the same whether the device is a telescope or a microscope. The PC treats this device as a USB camera. Unfortunately it is referred to as a telescope on all menus, this does not affect the functionality of the unit whatsoever. I am not very satisfied with this product. To begin the installation CD is for a telescope. I had to go to MCM website to find out this was the correct CD. The material on the CD is not completely tested for XP which sent up another flag. I had my share of problems in the software installation. I had to remove it and reinstall it to get it to work. Once working I was disappointed in how hard the unit is to focus and how poorly the stage is illuminated. The alignment between the ocular and the stage is very, very, poor. Not what I would call a good product, even in the $60.00 price range. Worth more about $20.00!
