Product Description

This drive features a 2 GB capacity and a USB 2.0 interface. For added security, you can lock your data - no one can read, write or delete any files. This Classified CSD-8300 includes a DataLock PIN-Pad protection that lets you enter a series of number, up to 10 digits, to lock or unlock the drive. There's no need to install software or drivers. The CSD-8300 even has a feature that destroys the contents upon forced entry. In addition, your data is secured with Military Grade 256-bit AES encryption. When locked, this Classified CSD-8300 USB drive is invisible to any computer, even while it's connected. To unlock, simply input the correct combination and you can now have read and write access to your files.

    This is a good idea, if it works. Mine was defective out of the box. It was impossible to set an access code so I didn't even try t it as a thumb drive. Oh, and for what it's worth, I DID try leaving it plugged in for a couple of hours in order to charge the internal battery with absolutely no change in performance. Save your money.
