Maximize your computer's performance with this 20 pin ATX power supply.
Installed this PSU into an older HP tower PC and installation was simple. All voltages came up to proper levels and the computer booted up and runs normally. For the excellent price I was very happy and glad to get my computer running again. The old power supply always required me to re-boot throughout the day and often shut itself off for no apparent reason. With the new supply I can say everything is working very well now.
CON: I can't listen to AM radio in the house anymore due to the power supply spewing noises and heavy static all over the AM and shortwave radio frequencies. I confirmed this by shutting off and turning the unit back on a few times. It's definitely the new supply making all the noise. I tried installed ferrite clam chokes around the power cord and the DC cables from the supply but it doesn't help at all. According to the MCM specs its supposed to be FCC compliant but that doesn't seem to be the case. My old power supply never caused this type of a problem.
