  Thank you for bringing the issue with the MIN/MAX function to our attention. We checked our stock and found that this function did in-fact not operate properly. We contacted the Manufacturer regarding this and have determined there was an error in the programming of the CMOS controller in this unit. Replacement IC’s were provided and have been installed in the stocked units. The min/max function has been tested and operates properly.

  I really liked this meter for the money, the display is large and easy to read and it's loaded with features. The overall quality of the unit is not what my Fluke 8845 is , but I didn't expect it to be for half the price. However, the MIN/MAX function does not work correctly. After quite a bit of back-and-forth with MCM's tech support, they sent me a replacement unit and the replacement has the same problem so I suspect this is a design issue. MCM issued an RA with no hassle for me to return both units. Too bad, I liked the meter and almost kept it anyway since I rarely use this function.
