True RMS Multimeter w/USB Interface
Full function multimeter offers a variety of ranges for every service application, the accuracy of a 19,999 count display, and an optically isolated USB interface. It measures AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacitance, temperature, frequency and duty cycle. Triple display features 1/2" primary digits and dual 1/4" secondary displays, plus an analog bargraph and numerous on–screen icons.

  I have used professionally for over two years. Good value, I use top of the line Fluke and Agilent meters too and this one is almost as good. It has the same resolution on ohms, mV, and accuracy that compares too. It actually outperforms the higher priced meters on high voltage readings, it reads up to 1999V on DC, although I would not suggest you push it like I have, it is only rated to 1000V (same as Fluke and Agilent which actually do stop at 1000V). Note that I purchased it for $94.00, it has gone up in price since but still a good value.

  The "*" indicates that it works for the functions I can get it to do. I'm not an EE so usage of the features of the meter is very difficult because the documentation is quite poor. The computer interface just plane does not work - tech support could not help at all. I'm glad I purchased the unit, just disappointed that the usability is limited.

  Honestly, I never thought I would say this, but this meter is tops, head to head as good as the Fluke meters I have used, for alot less $$$. Look at the long list of features. I have tested them all and this unit performs each one perfectly. Buy it. You wont be sorry.

  Even if I had paid $100 more for this meter, I would still be thrilled. The build quality, features and functionality are all very good. The display is large and very easy to read, although I wish I could make the backlight stay on permanenty instead of a max of 30 seconds. Accuracy seems very good, certainly has good repeatability. Test leads, carry case and meter housing all look very very good. Even if you don't need all of the functions, or the 4 1/2 digit display, this is still the way to go. This is a great meter.

  we have this one at work. Its an ok meter for having around the house, but it is by no means, a good meter to use commercially or for industrial diagnostics. slow, not always reliable, and doesn't always do what it should!

  I've had (and used) this meter for about 6 months. It is well built and does everything claimed of it. Meter probes supplied are VERY nice!

  This meter does everything, is low cost, and is still high quality. For over 10 years I have used the Tenma meters! I bought my first meter because it had a frequency option the competitors did not and was pleased with it's quality, I still use it to this day. This meter improves on everything from my older meter with more resolution, higher frequency measurement, temperature and the abiltity to log the data through an ISOLATED USB port! Way cool!
