  At work we have 4 Sony DSR-300's that need AC Power. I bought one of these, replaced the Cigarette plug with a Chassie mount 4 Pin XLR. It worker perfectly! I have since purchased 4 more. Modifyed each and put them at diffrent locations for Plug in Power. Most Pro Camera's run on 14.4 Volts. If you look in your camera Manual you can run as low as 12 Volts. This units puts out a solid 13.8 Volts. Even Powering up a 5 inch Camera monitor the power is clean.. Modfying these saved me a boat load of money verses buying the Sony or Pro line Camera Power Supply.

  Truthfully, I was not expecting the moon and stars from this product. It looks alot like the power supply I used with my CB when I was a kid. ~~~ However~~~ First off, the manual gives good detail, including a schematic. It appears to have been written by somebody that grew up speaking English, not poorly tranlated Korean. Second, the output is dead on target. We bought six of these for use in the shop, to keep equipment from the service vans charged. I measured all six, and they were within 13.84 ~ 13.86V at no load. The voltage drops only to 13.78V with a 3A load. They are far better regulated than I would have expected. Third, the output is clean. We often use one to power an old car stereo that sits on the bench, which it does very well. No noise, no hum at all. Normally these supplies get left on 24/7, even when not in use. No problems after nearly a year. The Ammeter is great, as it helps determine when the batteries are nearing full charge. The lighted power switch is also a nice touch. Gen
