Compact Digital Sound Level Meter
Ultra compact sound level meter is perfect for numerous types of measurement including sound system testing and noise level monitoring.

Product Description

  • Measures less than 6" in length, including the windscreen
  • Provides full 40 ~ 130dB measuring range
  • Simple one–button operation
  • Selectable MIN/MAX hold
  • Large ¾" digit LCD backlit display
  • Threaded insert which accepts standard tripod mount

  • 1999 count display with 0.1dB resolution

  • Includes manual and 9V battery

      I have had experience with these in bigger form but wanted to try this little guy. Great product for the money and works every time. Even like the light sensor for darker areas. Love it!

      This unit is awesome, fits right in my pocket and when i need it, it's there. Also it's dead on, right on he money. I compared readings with a rack mount unit and the same reading were displayed. Great price for an awesome unit!

      This is a great meter for the money. Simple to use, lightweight and rugged. I gave it 4 stars for quality. The power button will begin to fail after 6 months of use. (We power cycle the device MANY times a day) Be advised that the device is A weighted only. For the money, this is a great buy, you will not regret owning it.

      I give this a 5 for Value, only because the rating guide does not go to 6. I gave it a 4 for features, only because this is an entry level meter and it does not have alot of features. That said, this little thing is an unbelieveable bargain. It literally fits in the palm of my hand, and does a great job. For day to day sound level checking, this unit is great. Just a note: I received my order from MCM for this, the 72-7730 meter and the 72-8400 hand held scope. This is my first time trying Tenma products. So far, they are 3 for 3. I am absolutely thrilled.
