Easy order process and quick shipping. Unit works as advertised. Initially there was quite a bit of "strobing" passing through. I elected to adjust the small POT on the PCB, and was able to minimize these "flashes". For information, there is an access hole on the bottom of the unit for the POT. Very much worth the money for anyone trying to transfer their old VHS library to DVD. My setup: Toshiba VHS/DVD player to Mag. HD/DVD DVR

This item worked where a Macro Terminator II unit costing many times more didn't. No complaints here.

This unit won't allow recordings to be made off shows available off cable television (AT&T) if they are encoded as such to not allow recordings.

I've bought dozens of these Stabilizers as gifts, and for the recipients then to give as gifts. It's the perfect, cost-effective choice for anyone with a large commercial VHS collection and too little space. Not one person has told me of any problem so far. I've copied over 100 VHS tapes to DVD with no errors, and at least half of them look better than the source tape. The stabilizer takes up almost no room, powers on only when a video signal passes through it, and does its job of blocking the Macrovision layer. It works silently, and without generating any heat. It's handy even if you only play VHS tapes; it improves the on-screen video, smoothing out many effects of age, stretch, and wear. Highly recommended, especially at this price.

I was having trouble capturing my friends wedding video (VHS) to my computer so i can make a DVD for their anniversary but the video kept jumping around. When i hooked this up the video was stable and looked as if i was watching it on a TV screen. Great product for the price.
