Leapfrog's remote control extender converts the infrared signal from a remote control into a long-range RF radio signal, allowing A/V systems to be controlled from virtually anywhere in the home without the need for additional equipment or wiring. Remote control extenders use the 418MHz frequency band to command components through any obstacle, including walls and floors. The product is ready to use in seconds, simply by mounting the sending unit to the remote and plugging in the receiver. Remote control extenders come with all the required equipment, including batteries. Just take it out of the box, set it up, and enjoy your components from wherever you choose. RCA and Dishnetwork extenders are designed specifically for your satellite receivers and the RCA units work with most RCA equipment.

Easy to connect, and works great!

I expected that the unit would not function as well as I wanted, but was pleasantly surprised! Just aim the receiver at the unit you want to control, plug the transmitter in at the other end, and you're ready to go. Even has multiple remote IR receivers for the transmitter end to get better reception from any point in the room. A nice unit, and it just works!

Presentation in a large meeting hall

Used this to be of assistance in a presentation in a large meeting hall. The setup was a LCD Projector in the front of the room for Video and PowerPoint presentations. The AV equipment and operation was towards the rear of the room. We needed to switch the inputs on the projector from the rear of the room using an Inferred remote control. This did not work until we utilized this Leapfrog's remote control extender. We were able to control everything from about 80 feet away with no issues. This is a Great Product!
