  I really liked the quality of sound and range of this unit but it went dead after about an hour of operation. It also has another flaw in that it disables all sound from the PC when the USB dongle is connected to so if you want sound from your PC as well as in another room simultaneously it doesn't allow it. It also has a hair trigger on-off switch that goes off or on just touching the unit.

  It was exactly what I needed. Changeover from wireless to the internal sound system is as simple as removing and reinserting the dongle. On my laptop which runs Windows 7, music will begin playing a few 2 seconds after the dongle is removed or reinserted. In my desktop which runs Vista, the Windows hardware changeover sound moves back and forth, but the media player has to be reloaded to get the music back. It would be nice if the dongle was a little smaller. Thanks a lot MCM for selling such a great product!

  works great, I recently moved with 2 other roommates. We have AT&T U-Verse and all our computers are connected by wireless, Due to the layout of the apartment, I was unable to to hook my computer to my High End Audio system to play our 1000's of MP3 files,(all legally ripped from our massive CD collection), by routing a wire through the apartment. This solved the problem, and VERY easy to hook up. Purchase one if you have a similar problem. Total 5 star rating from me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I love it. Very easy to use. Gives me access to my entire library of music on my laptop for endless music. I choose the "shuffle" in windows media player, and let it rip. No more changing cd's. killer deal, if you ask me.

  This product performed just as advertised, but Windows has a limitation that greatly reduces the value of this product. That is, when you're using this product, Windows won't play the sound card IN THE COMPUTER. You get remote sound or local sound, but never both! It's complicated and laborious to switch back and forth, if you're even willing to do that (I'm not). I SUPPOSE I could buy one more of these and use just its receiver to run the sound system at my computer (I could use more receivers around the house, anyway!), but that already doubles the cost. If I had a source of just the receivers (for less than what the full product of receiver and transmitter cost), I would use this product. As it is, I'm returning it.
