    It's a transformer that takes 120 volts AC and outputs at 12 volts AC. It can supply over 3 amps at 12 volts. My wife got a fancy Christmas statue of a dog/reindeer at a closeout store. It did not have a working power supply. This transformer works perfectly as a replacement.
