Fantastic multi-port serial card that works with Linux

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I have been looking for a cheap, multi-port serial card for my Linux PC. Of the ones that I have tried, none of them worked reliably. In one case, the drivers would not even compile without various patches of dubious quality. I am happy to report that the drivers on the SUNIX website worked just fine with both the 3.0.x and 3.2.x kernels. While I have yet to test all eight ports simultaneously, four of them worked just fine with fldigi and three grig sessions. I highly recommend this card if you need multi-port serial access under Linux.
