    Worked Great on First try

    Overall: 4.5 out of 5

Used to connect a Windows 8 laptop to a tv through HDMI. Everything came up on first try and looked just as good as connecting a HDMI cable directly to the laptop.

    Overall: 3 out of 5

I like the picture but so far there has been nothing I can do to get the sound to work. Switched cables and tried more than one computer. I will email tech support and see what they think.

    Overall: 5 out of 5

My Gateway laptop purchased in 2007 does not have a HDMI output to send quality video to a large, HDMI ready TV. The VGA to HDMI adapter did just that. It works great and I am happy with the "new feature" of my laptop. The adapter transmits both the video and stereo sound in one full digital HDMI cable. The adapter supports standard VESA timing output and HDMI output supports up to 1920x1200 @60Hz. The adapter power it is supplied by the laptop's USB port, via supplied connecting cable. Again, great product.
