  This key pad is not worth the money. I can not get the # sign key to produce a # sign. So frustrating to pay so much and the keypad will not function properly. There are other keys that will not function also using the shift key. Totally disappointed.

  Horrible range and intermittant keys. I bought this to use with my PC based DVR. To have any hope of it working I have to be within 6 feet of the receiver with a clear line of sight. To be able to enter a password I have to be within 2 feet and it often takes 3 or more tries. The keys sometimes don't register and sometimes repeat. It goes to sleep and you have to hold a key down to wake it up. You have to make sure you don't use a key that will mess up what you are doing. I do have a G wireless network but that shouldn't be a problem unless they don't expect you to use a wireless network with a computer. It's a great design that just doesn't work well. The rechargable battery is nice. Not sure what to do when it is dead though since it isn't removable. My experience with a lot of other wireless keyboards has been similar. Most don't have any range to speak of at best. It uses a standard mini usb to charge and just comes with a usb cable so your PC has to be on to charge it. I just use an old cell phone charger.
