Our sound company uses a lot of gaffer's tape, and it is expensive, so we try to be conservative in using it. However, we discovered that MCM's House Brad WATERPROOF GAFFER TAPE is a terrific value. It has the perfect amount of stickiness and strength for music stage applications, and it will not leave behind a sticky residue on cables and equipment. It is also HALF THE PRICE of the gaffer's tape sold at Guitar Center and other music stores. Some folks want a FLAT gaffer tape that won't reflect light, particularly in permanent stage applications. If the gloss finish is not a concern for you, then you have found the perfect tape right here. The tape does repel water, and it does stay in place during damp conditions, however, do not try to apply it on surfaces that are already wet.
