The DA-550 series is designed with the highest headroom available in a distribution amplifier. Traditional panels are not designed to handle the radical variations in signal strengths that have come about with HDTV. New technologies such as HDTV create special problems for current video distribution panels. The DA-550s can handle an extremely wide range of input signals from today's NTSC and tomorrow's digital TV. With outputs to eight televisions, coax runs up to 150', three inputs, one from a CATV or antenna and two from modulators, the DA-550 is the heart of a multi-room distribution system. The DA-550BID offers a 5~42MHz return path for bi-directional communication for use with cable modems and pay-per-view applications. The DA-550HHR is used with high performance antenna applications for off air digital and NTSC signals. Additional features: IR engine, remote power and expandable outputs.
