Transmit power and video signals over standard UTP CAT5 cables. The video/power balun system carries DC power along with video over standard UTP cable. The built-in DC plug on each of the 4 video/power baluns attached to the camera (#82-9295; sold individually) receives power from the transmitter (Note: 82-9300 includes a 12VDC, 1.25A power adaptor meant to power all 4 cameras from a single power input terminal connection on the back of 82-9300). The male BNC to RJ-45 jack converts 75ohm video to 100ohm video for use with economical UTP CAT5 cables.
To monitor and record the signals use the four channel video balun (#82- 8140) to break the signal back out. The four channel video balun converts a single 100ohm RJ-45 single to four 75ohm BNC for transmission over coaxial cable. Transmits distances up to 1000' for color video and 2000' for black and white. Using category 5E or greater can increase distances by 20%.
