    A Fun And Useful Microscope

    Overall: 5 out of 5

I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this. It wasn't very expensive, so I figured it was worth a try.

This is a far cry from a laboratory quality microscope, but it's a great little device for inspecting small parts, circuit boards, even for getting splinters out of your finger.

The software isn't very intuitive, and the instruction book seems overly complicated, but it works. I'm using it with Windows 7. I plan to use it with WinXP in my shop, but I haven't done that yet.

If you have a need to look at small parts, this will do the job inexpensively. If you want to look at things on the cellular level, this isn't the one.
