Connect your Nintendo Wii® console to your TV via HDMI with this compact adapter.

This adapter is designed to fit into the Wii video port and allows the connection of an HDMI cable to the Wii. The device will carry audio through the HDMI or through the 3.5MM jack. This allows the audio to be separated and sent to a separate device.

  After having a Wii forced on my HDMI-based home theater system, I had to choose between lousy audio on my TV or laggy responses through my VCR/DVD player and home theater system. This device solved both problems. Don't expect 720p or 1080p picture quality; the Wii just doesn't provide it. But the adapter eliminated my cabling mess and ensured a 'pure' HDMI environment. Used with: Yamaha RX-V465 receiver alongside other HDMI-only devices and generic-branded HDTV.
