Class-T Digital Audio Amplifier Driver IC
Due to its extremely high performance, high efficiency and ease of application, this state-of-the-art IC is used in many digital audio amplifiers including models from Lepai, Topping and many others. The TA2020-020 is a 20W (4Ω) continuous average per channel Class-T Digital Audio Power Amplifier IC, utilizing Tripath’s proprietary Digital Power Processing (DPPTM) technology. Class-T amplifiers offer both the audio fidelity of Class-AB and the power efficiency of Class-D amplifiers.

Product Description

Its through-hole, 32-pin SSIP package allows easy incorporation into experimenter and prototype PC boards, and is perfect for DIY, design or repair situations.

A single 14.6VDC supply, with typical current draw of 5.5A (7A max), will provide 16.5W RMS, x two channels, driving a 4Ω load, with THD of less than 0.1%.
