  I ordered these transistors to rebuild a Pioneer SX1980 power supply. I waited for some time to obtain all the parts necessary to rebiuld the board. When I finally powered up the unit I had a problem with the negative power supply regulator. Turns out the problem is with this transistor. It is marked to be a 2SB595 but thats not what it is at all. It looks to be a fake part totally unusable. Every transistor I checked with my Sencor transistor analyzer confirmed this. I quit ordering parts from MAT electronics long ago due to fake transistors. I figured MCM would be better after a long history of sucess. I just want to make someone aware the problem exists and to be sure parts get checked before they are installed in the equipment. I know this is a wide spread problem but your other company Newark claims they are doing everything to keep only good parts for their customer. Thanks for this chance to let you know about this. I know its been several months since I ordered these 2SB595 parts so I don't expect any replacements. Thanks...
