The USM-8D is a low cost, frequency stable, UHF modulator developed for use in adding satellite, VCR, or security video channels to an existing home distribution system. The frequency adjustable feature allows multiple channel use at an extremely low cost.

  Good choice for analog data or video to go into a cable system, very good for making outdoor (or indoor) cameras available to any viewing location. Analog channels only, but usable still with cable compnay boxes. Stable, decent bandwidth, inexpensive, rugged. What's not to like?

  I am using this in a CCTV system to add additional channels into a system. It's working well with a Channelplus 5445 system to add an additional channel. Easily configurable, and I particularly like the power supply cabling via coax.
